If you’re thinking about getting a new eReader but don’t want to go the usual Kindle or Kobo route, you might want to check out PocketBook eReaders Sale. Right now, they’ve got some solid deals on their devices over at their official Amazon store.

PocketBook makes a range of eReaders in different sizes, and they even have models with color E Ink screens. They’re not as well-known in the U.S., but they’ve been around for a while and are a great alternative especially if you like sideloading books (which, let’s be real, is kind of necessary since their onboard store isn’t great). On the plus side, they do support Adobe DRM ebook downloads directly, which most eReaders don’t.

One of the coolest things about PocketBook? They still offer page-turn buttons on most models. Some even have memory card slots, which is something you won’t find on a Kindle or Kobo.

Now, I’ll be honestPocketBooks aren’t the fastest eReaders out there. But they do support a wide variety of formats, including OverDrive for borrowing library books, and you can download them directly without messing with Adobe Digital Editions.

You can browse all the deals over at the PocketBook store on Amazon. Some of their covers are on sale too, but I won’t go into those here.
